“I went to Aurora for therapy after I lost a leg, before I left to go back home I knew if I had to stay in a nursing home it would be Aurora. The food was very, very good and the nurses were awesome. CNA's were there for me whenever I needed them, housekeeping was good to me, and the DON and all office personnel was just as good. My best friend was my little dog, and they let him move in with me. He was in hog heaven, they loved him too, and they made me feel like I was the only one in the nursing home. It is the only place I ever seen where the Administrator and Staff come to my room to check on me often. They respected my wishes but was there if I needed them, I have to admit I’m a hard person to please but I give my Hat off to Aurora and all the staff.”
